Company agreements with the Government of Gujarat strictly limit the emission levels of hydrocarbon vapour from the Hazira plant. Although it is recognized in these agreements that some ship operations will involve the emission of hydrocarbon vapour to atmosphere during discharge ships co-operation is requested to ensure that such emissions are kept to the absolute minimum.
